THE BEGINNING
Before opening Backroad Creamery in October 2016, I spent years studying the art of making cheese. Taking several cheese courses and learning techniques and backgrounds of cheese. Many hours were, and still are, spent making different cheeses and perfecting recipes so I can provide you with the highest quality cheese. We started out with curds, which extremely well received, and have since expanded our inventory to include Cheddar and Feta cheeses with more varieties to come!

THE COWS
I milk a handful of purebred Holstein cows, backed by some of the breed’s best pedigrees. My cows are also exhibited at different shows across the country, and their genetics are marketed via embryos and stud sales. I am proud to say my cows receive the best care possibly, they truly are the center of my business and part of my family!
